Paul Day started Bullant Creative in 2010 for clients wanting a Performance-Centred approach to technical support. Bullant Creative specialises in high value operations improvements and project management in fast paced manufacturing and construction environments.

Paul graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986 with a 1st class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and a prize for the Best Mechanical Design Student. After a short stint in the mining industry, Paul joined the MARS Corporation in 1988 as a Kaizen Engineer.

Within a year, the spectre of increasing production volumes from Japan meant that someone needed to manage 50 maintenance tradesmen, twice Paul's age, in an environment of rapid growth. Paul was given the Maintenance Managers job at the Bathurst plant at the tender age of 23. This became something of a baptism of fire and laid the foundation for a unique career that was to evolve over 22 years at MARS.

Paul has worked as a Chief Engineer, Plant Manager, Logistics Manager, Purchasing Manager, Production Manager and Maintenance Manager. He has travelled to over 23 countries and visited over 35 factories on 5 continents. This experience combined when he was asked to lead the project team that created a state-of-the-art green-field manufacturing facility at the Wodonga site. After the plant was successfully commissioned and integrated into the supply chain he decided it was time to set out on his own.

Paul lives in Albury at the base of Australia's food bowl. He is happily married to Jane and a devoted father of four kids.

"I have worked on projects with Paul Day for over 20 years, he is visionary, honest, and a brilliant engineer" - Andrew Martin (Baigents Consulting Engineers)
